Dr. Samantha Vavricek
Dr. Vavricek provides comprehensive optometry and primary eye care services. Her clinical training includes diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. She is certified to treat glaucoma, and has special interests in specialty contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care and co-management of refractive and cataract surgery.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at the University of California, Davis and went on to achieve her professional Doctorate of Optometry at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Optometry where she earned an award for Excellence in Primary Eye Care.
Dr. Vavricek is certified by the California State Board of Optometry to treat and manage ocular disease, to perform lacrimal irrigation/dilation and diagnoses and treatment of primary open angle glaucoma. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and Sacramento Valley Optometric Society.
Dr. Vavricek strives to provide quality vision care and takes pride in giving back to her community. Outside of the office, Dr. Vavricek enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending quality time with her daughter.
Dr. Ngo practices to the full scope of optometry providing patient’s with comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, as well as, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease.
Dr. Ngo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and went on to earn her professional Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry.
In clinical practice, Dr. Ngo is trained in the treatment and management of pre and post-op strabismus surgery, retinopathy of prematurity, diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, foreign body removal, trauma and injuries. She also regularly co-manages patients with local retinal specialists, corneal specialists and oculoplastic surgeons.
